I've got like a crapload of neices, and pooh's right, the princess phase will be around for like 5 years starting about age 3. You could use the costume we dressed evan in his first halloween, if I can find it.

She actually has a tiara and sceptre....Hmm. I'll guess I'll have to post that from home.

You can compromise and stick her on a deserted island with a tiara and sceptre, and say she's going as "Lost Princess"... :)

So what do you kid having parents plan on dressing up your kids as for Halloween? Also, Star and I are in a predicament. We can't decide what Kaitlyn should be.

Star wants her to be a princess.
Argument:
My guess is that she gets to relive her childhood because the toys that were popular when she was a girl is popular now. Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, etc. Just as I'm obsessed with Lost among other things, she is obsessed with Princesses. The Disney ones to be specific.

I want Kaitlyn to be a panda.
Argument:
Kaitlyn is a baby right now. She needs to be cute. Princesses are for 3-10 year olds. Kaitlyn will go through her princess phase when she is older, and Star can enjoy it then. Right now we need to get cute stuff on her that she definitely wouldn't wear when she gets older.

On a related note, we ask Hunter what he wants to be for Halloween. He told us he wanted to be Woody. We told him he was Woody last year. So you know what he decided? A cowboy. Great. We are going to check out the local Halloween stores to see if anything tickles his fancy.
