Yesterday at lunch, I was looking at pictures of cats with captions while my puppies were eating, and Lilith looked up at me and said, "ZZzzzZT! Pop crack crackle pop FfffFFZT!" - then she blew smoke in my face.

That's the downside to building a computer that you upgrade piecemeal over time. One day, it'll all go out at once. Including the power supply, the mobo, the RAM, and I'm guessing the CPU...

My dad bought me a dell laptop for christmas and unfortunetly even tho he bought it around the 3rd of novemeber it didnt arrive by christmas, after much argueing fighting and nashing of teeth, not to mention a 3 week wait for my christmas gift, my dad gave up and gave me cash.

My work has opened up a Dell small business account (HUGE MISTAKE) to get a laptop. I have a very important trip in which I need this laptop before hand to put some information on. I speak with a sales rep at Dell, on 5/9, and plainly explain to him that I need this computer IN MY HANDS by 5/18. He said, "oh that'll be fine, I put the order in, there's 4 days build time and then 2 for shipping." The next day, I get called saying there is a problem with our financing. I think this odd since we were approved for like a $10,000 credit line, so I called the idiot sales rep back and he said, "oh it's fine, you just fell through the cracks where we are trying to update our systems" I am like, "ok" and we go on. I received my router in the mail, which was supposed to be packaged with Quickbooks program and guess what, I only got the router. So I log on to track this package and find out that hey--my computer is going to ship on the 23rd. So, I call my sales rep yet again, who puts me on hold for 20 minutes (LITERALLY, I have a clock on my phone that tells how long I am on it) and never gets back to me. I get pissed and call him back, who says, "oh my manager will call you back in 15 minutes" and THREE HOURS goes by. By this time I am absolutely livid, which ask Pooh, isn't fun, and I call them back and say, "fuck you I am getting a Gateway". Oh, by this time, the manager actually talks to me and says, "oh, your sales rep didn't mention that the screen size you ordered is actually on backorder, your computer will be another 8 days out. But I see here where you need it by the 18th. That's a problem then I guess, isn't it?" I am like, "yeah you idiot" and so mysteriously I hear him typing away and somehow, "oh, they have a screen for me" and they get it underway. I tell him that I had better have that computer by this Friday or all hell will rain fire and brimestone down on them, and he gets scared and gives me a free mouse, overnight shipping, and a larger monitor. FREE.

I hate when you pop in a dvd and it won't instantly play or you have to wait through all these "warning, we seriously will put you in jail" messages before you can get to a menu screen. I have to stand at the dvd player several minutes (or maybe its seconds, iunno) just to start thomas the train for evan. grrr!

That, and lying about birthday parties pisses me off.

PlayStation 3 has now officially launched in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, approximately three months later than the system's release in North America and Japan. Reports of the various launches from sources across the internet paint a variety of pictures as to the level of demand for the system, though on the whole the concensus seems to be that crowds were not overwhelming.

In a surprise move at its official UK launch at the Virgin main location in London, Sony announced just before midnight that it would be giving all of those standing in line a 46-inch Bravia high definition TV--as well as a taxi ride home. The company ended up giving away some GBP 250,000 ($490,450) worth of televisions to approximately 120 new PS3 owners.

It pisses me off how the critics are complaining that 300 as too violent. They are going to a movie that is a retelling of a BATTLE between 300 Spartans and hundreds of thousands of Persians. It's going to be violent.
