After all, according to Quade Myrtle Beach is ONLY 3-4 hours away. ;) ;) Anyway, those would definitley be nice trips, maybe we can add other things to it, Carlsbad Caverns? Those of us with kids, or at least in my experience, my kid gets kinda bored looking at pretty rocks and stuff like that, so maybe if we threw in a good zoo trip or something like that, that would be fun too. I think my kid for sure would like going to the Carlsbad Caverns. I have been there, and we stayed in this old timey town that was like 10 minutes away, and there's lots of things to do there you can pan for gold and there's a hotel where the racoons (sp) come and swim in the pool and stuff. Just a suggestion if we are going out west. Also, there's Tombstone Arizona, which is about a 2 hour drive. I used to live there, I know all abuout these places. Also, Nogales Mexico, big touristy spot, and Rocky Point Mexico, if you want an ocean stroll. But IF we go there, can we please spend more than 5 minutes AND not have Pooh drive???? 8) |

Something so that us aunts and uncles out of state can see our nieces and nephews... :) I know this sounds cheesy, but what about something like going to see Mt. Rushmore, or the Grand Canyon? I've never been, and I sure a lot of us haven't either. It's something where the trip is the real vacation, and seeing the Canyon should take like 30 minutes. Maybe we all meet up together, then continue on the trip in a caravan or something? |
