Posted 09/01/2009 - 12:42am by quade You know, I've been so concerned about wilderness maps that I forgot about using CC for dungeons and ruins maps. I've been needing to make some of those lately, too... | |

I'm looking for ways to streamline the process. For instance, look at this test map: I'm really going for a watercolor map look; like something you'd see in the Hobbit cartoon and maps here http://www.mikeschley.com/projects/gallery/regionalMaps.htm Basically, I'm looking to just be able to plop together a map in minutes. But I've not had much luck with custom brushes and textures. Has anyone here messed with those? Also, what map software do you use? I've used Campaign Cartographer and WotC's tile maker app, but I like to make my maps a little more organic. |
