I don't know if any of you guys have been reading Marvel titles lately but Bendis just pulled a "WTF!!!" in Secret Invasion #01. Start picking up back issues of the last 5 or 6 years of Marvel comics mostly Avengers or character closely associated with them. I think Marvel is gonna Pwn DC with story telling this year.

I don't know if anybody knows yet but Marvel killed off Captain America. Most likely its not perminate and part of some big story but it happened.

I'm all for it, I wouldn't mind a series of movies like the Harry Potter movies. And if they are poorly done, I can just block em out and keep with the books. That I know are awesome |

Which some are you. For me it depends on the format. An HBO series? I'm all for it. A movie? No way.

Some have wanted it, some have dreaded it, but it looks like it will happen.J.J. Abrams (Lost) will bring life to the Dark Tower series either big or small screen. |

I can wait till May. I need to get on board with the Wheel of TIme, cause Edge has been wanting to discuss that with me. I've made it to, like the 6th or 7th book on that series, while Edge is up to date. I've exchanged It for Eye of the World, Edge. So why don't you reread that, so we can discuss it from the beginning? It'd be a good refresher. |

Pooh, Saint, Nilrem and I are going to read the Dark Tower starting in May and hopefully read them all. If you want to wait, maybe you can get in on that with us. Then we can discuss. It will be a reread for me as well, but I love the series so much I have been wanting to, and what better reason. Saint and I have been read Alhazred and it is neat to read a book at the same time just to have someone to discuss it with. |

I liked it a lot myself. I love how these guys visualized the characters. It's about the same as I did. While anticipating it's release, I did a search for some Sergio Leone, and my DVR picked up 4 titles!!!! I'm looking forward to watching them, and I'm going to reread the Dark Tower once I get those watched. Woohoo!!!!

Don't forget that a prequal comic of the Dark Tower is coming out 02/07/07. The Springfieldites get to enjoy a midnight release at Dragon's Lair if they so choose.

Quote:Also ultimate wolverine vs hulk ROCKS. You'll have to post any Lost related eggs on here when you find them. One I've heard of is a vial found in the Himalayas or something was related to Lost. Had the 4815162342 numbers or something. |

I have just gotten back into it and its a GREAT time to get back in. The ultimates series is a great take on the marvel universe and they made part of it into a cartoon. its kind of like a marvel universe that can be explained thru science..no magic. the house of M is also a great series. If your a DC lover then you cant help but love the new infinite Crisis series that is going back into the crisis on infinite earths series from 1985 "which i think is probably the best series of its time. Also ultimate wolverine vs hulk ROCKS.
