Dr. Pooh... just stay away from Moviegoods.com they suck balls...more than Chains and I did apparently I used to have a site but I haven't ordered in a while. if you are looking for REAL movie posters, size wise they are 27X40...not the 24X36 you will find at a lot of places. allposters.com usually is good. |

yeah, caching proxies suck ass. our it department installed one, thinking they were trying to help. imagine when you make a change to a website, and it doesn't show up for hours (even when you ssh into a machine, and see your change in the file).ISPs are starting to do this all over the place, including comcast, bell south, and verizon; they do this as a way to speed up internet service for everyone -- they serve it out of memory, rather than spending all that time looking up the page, etc... but, they all suck. but a way to get around it, if you think your page is cached, add ?asdfasdf to the end of the URL; or &asdf if it already has a ? in the URL. the cache proxy will think it's a different page, and fetch a fresh copy. assholes. |

I guess this is for others too, but Knock and I discussed the issue.I just read on "Inside the Experience" that some service providers will cache your sites on their servers, and they typically clear them once a day. It appears thats what my problem was here at work. You may never run into the 24 hour problem, but I thought I'd let you know on this little gem just in case. |
