...and for all those people alluding the film to 9/11, GET OVER IT!!!! A shitty thing happened 7 years ago. New York has always been the place for destruction in just about any movie. There was a LONG time for mourning. It was untouched by movies during this time. Remember Spider-Man? Guess what? Mourning is over. FAKE movies about FAKE destruction will now commence. So please. You guys had plenty of time to be crybabies and sign your crybaby petitions with the VERY FIRST trailer. The head of the Statue of Liberty flying into Manhattan is a good sign that your precious city is about to be leveled by something crazy. Take the proverbial bandaid off, quit crying, and get your ass back outside and play....or the terrorists will have already won.Wink

Spoiler Alert!
I doubt they survive. Quade, This site had the recording, but I assume they had them remove it. It was a backwards message that supposedly said "It's still alive." Also that last seen with Rob and whatsherface at Coney Island, they say you can see something splash into the water. I was actually looking for something but did not see it. I'd like to watch the move again and see if I can see it this time. I'm assuming this verifies an ET origin.

Sorry Chains. Yeah, it's a great movie. They DO need one of those warnings at the beginning for pregnant women and the elderly. It is SHAKY. There are some strobe moments. Not a movie for the quesy. They are already talking sequel. YIPPEE!!!

Spoiler Alert!
At the end, after the credits, you hear a whisper "[I'm?] still alive"

Without spoiling anything, I thought the movie was badass. It's the first movie I've seen where I was literally on the edge of my seat. The whole thing was that shaky, handheld, Blair-Witchy thing you expect, but a bigass mother fucking monster destroying every last fucking thing.

From a technical standpoint, there was a whole lot of glimpses of the thing, and shit like buildings coming down, but a lot of things happen off camera; which really builds the suspense. Also, they did a really good job of high-action (which means lots of shaky camera work), with gaps in between of rest.

Remember the hype of the first teaser you saw right before Transformers? It definitely lives up to that hype.

Spoiler Alert!
You don't know if they lived or died...we assume they are dead but it isn't conclusive. Also, we don't know where the monster was from or if it was destroyed. All we can safely assume is that the tape survived

Del, they found this camcorder in Central Park. It DID have a conclusion. What you really wanted was them to escape and be on Oprah to explain their ordeal. That is the conclusion you were probably looking for. I was pleased with the movie.Wink

Spoiler Alert!
First 30 minutes, totally annoying. Could have been the length it was in the preview and I would have been happy. Middle part was pretty good. The ending, oh wait, there wasn't one. I felt so ripped off, I was expecting an explanation.
